My newest piece, “Power” was written for my friend and gyil master Mike Vercelli (www.michaelvercelli.com). Mike and I went to school together at Bowling Green State University and I was very excited when Mike asked me to write a piece for the gyil, a xylophone from Ghana, West Africa. The piece is scheduled to be premiered at West Liberty University on April 29th, 2014 on the Electronic Music concert. I hope you can join us for this special premiere.
